where it all began
Manna Supply, Inc. was established in 1993 when past Owner and Founder, Elaine Prince saw the need for distributing electrical supplies for local government projects, requiring certified small business participation. Elaine’s background in electrical contracting and communications infrastructure helped her understand the requirements for contracts of this type.
In 2004, Manna Supply became certified as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and went on to obtain additional certifications such as the SBE certification, which increased their ability to serve an even more expansive group in this specialized government arena. With the help of each certifying agency, Manna Supply was given platforms to develop a fine-tuned network and has since expanded its product lines, partnerships, and certifications across various industries and multiple states. Sadly, at the height of Manna Supply’s success, Elaine Prince had passed away from a difficult battle with cancer. Wanting to continue the legacy of his mother, Lawrence Prince, her son, had stepped in to run and support the business.
In 2019, two sisters, Shannon and Amanda Martin purchased Manna Supply, Inc. and became the new face and owners of the company. They received their MBE, WBE, DBE and SDB certification. Their goal is to continue what Elaine Prince had once started and find new ways to improve and add more value to their already established partnerships and new customers.
Shannon graduated from Clemson University with a degree in business and a focus on sales and marketing (Go Tigers). Her background is in Medical Device and IT Staffing sales. Amanda graduated from The College of Charleston with a degree in business. She held various roles in operations and customer service.
